Our history dates back to the 1970s, and dynamic growth has made us one of the leaders in the Polish wood industry today. For over 40 years, we have been investing in a modern machinery park, expanding our facilities, and broadening our product range – from wood processing and pellet production to industrial and garden components.

Modern production lines, our own biomass power plant, and a complete drying complex demonstrate our commitment to quality and sustainable development. We work flexibly, addressing the individual needs of clients both domestically and internationally.

The 70’ of 20th century

The 70’ of 20th century – Quarrying stone for road paving and construction needs at Rogalów/near Krasocin.

The 80’ of 20th century

Beginning of the 1980s – Transport of timber from the forest, from neighbouring provinces.
From 1986 – Primary wood processing, incl.debarking and longitudinal sawing; majority of the processed wood was for mining industr

The 90’ of 20th century

1996 – Construction of the New Company Headquarters in Świdno Including the office building, sawing hall, and the first raw material yard.

2001 - 2003

2001 – the launch of a new division making garden timber, viz. palisade, slat fences, flower pots/planters, gazebos, etc.

2002 – construction of a new hall for the production of glued timber/glulam, laminated panel production for the furniture industry.

2003 – erection of a new sawn timber drying complex of ca.1700 cu.m capacity.

2004 - 2006

2004 – commissioning a modern automatic line for sawing medium size logs.

2006 – erection and commissioning of the most advanced automatic sawing line in Poland with full equipment, feed rate 120 m/min max.

2006 – expansion of the glulam manufacture hall, launching an automatic sorting plant for wrot timber.

2007 - 2009

2007 / 2008 – commissioning a pellet manufacturing line and placing on the market a new product: wood pellets.

2009 – construction of a Biomass-Fired Combined Heat and Power Plant.

2009 – expansion of the pellets storage.

2009 – construction of the dryer.

2009 – expansion of a woodworking shop.

2010

2010 – Launch of a New Log and Longwood Sorting Line with a Capacity of 1,000 m³ per Shift

2014

2014 – Construction of a Production and Storage Facility for Sawn Timber Sorting, Cutting, and Storage

2014 – Modernization of the Wood Sawing Line

2016

2016 – Launch of a New Pallet Block Production Line Using Compressed Sawdust – Achieved EPAL Certification

2016 – Commissioning of a Biomass-Fired Combined Heat and Power Plant Producing Electricity and Heat

2018

2018 – Launch of a new pellet production line with belt dryers and packaging lines

2019

2019 – Commissioning of pellet storage warehouses.

2020

2020 – Modernization of the pellet production line

2020 – Construction of a photovoltaic power plant.

2022

2022 – Launch of a log sorting line.

2022-2025

2022-2025 – Optimization of production processes.

Tartak “Olczyk” is a reputable manufacturer of wood products. High quality of our products is guaranteed by modern production lines, raw material sourced solely from National State Forests, experience and skilled manpower.
